Rider Hospitalized After Collision at SR-29 and Madison Street
Yountville, CA (June 22, 2022) – Jay Wade, a 52-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Highway 29 and Madison Street.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident in Yountville
According to Napa Valley Register News, Wade was riding a 2001 Kawasaki motorbike heading south on the freeway. Earlier reports indicated the catastrophic incident took place when the motorcyclist and a 2013 Dodge drove at the same time through the intersection at Madison Street.
Our sources indicated the motorbike slammed into the right-front side of the Dodge. Due to the force from the impact, Wade was ejected from his Kawasaki motorcycle. Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 4:30 a.m. and rendered aid to the victim. After the evaluation, paramedics decided to transfer Jay Wade to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the Dodge driver reportedly appeared unharmed after the collision.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the accident on Highway 29 in Yountville.
