My News LA, Jeffrey Bowen was riding a moped traveling in the streets of Jurupa Valley. Preliminary investigation revealed the 69-year-old Eastvale resident made a U-turn at the intersection. In the process, a Chevrolet Silverado struck the moped.

The force from the impact ejected Jeffrey Bowen onto the pavement. Shortly after 10:20 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the pickup truck driver appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal moped accident in Jurupa Valley.
