Woman Killed, 2 Men Injured in Alleged DUI Crash on Main Street
SANTA ANA, Calif. (April 23, 2024) — Jocelyn Janet Campos, 27, of Paramount, died in an alleged DUI crash on South Main Street on Sunday in Santa Ana.
The young woman was one of two passengers riding in a pickup truck with an alleged drunk driver when the vehicle crashed at around 2 a.m. on April 21st, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and CBS News.
Enrique Murillo, 39, of Paramount, was driving the truck and had two passengers with him when he allegedly lost control and crashed into a palm tree and pole near 800 S. Main Street.
Paramedics responded and rushed both the driver and a male passenger to a hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Enrique Murillo was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI charges.
