Man Fatally Struck by 2 Vehicles Near Roseburg Avenue
Modesto, CA (October 26, 2022) – Johnathan Hadley, a 31-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on McHenry Avenue.
The Modesto Bee News reported Hadley appeared to be walking in a westerly direction across McHenry. For reasons still unclear, a southbound vehicle struck the man. Officials added a second motorist failed to avoid and ran over the body lying in the roadway.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on McHenry Avenue in Modesto
Shortly after the incident, emergency crews responded to the crash site near Roseburg Avenue. Medical personnel immediately attended to the injured pedestrian. An ambulance rushed the man to a hospital, where he later sadly succumbed to his trauma and passed away. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Johnathan Hadley, of Modesto.
Authorities mentioned the drivers involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident that happened on McHenry Avenue in Modesto.
