Infant Injured in Collision Near Humphrey Road
Yuba City, CA (September 23, 2022) – Jonathan Reyes, and several others suffered injuries following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on State Route Highway 20.
The Kuba Radio News reported 34-year-old Reyes, of Colusa, was behind the wheel of a 2018 Jeep Compass heading west on the highway. Our sources indicated the Jeep crashed into a 2008 Honda Pilot in the area near Humphrey Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the Honda failed to yield the right of way, leading to the accident.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. They found Jonathan Reyes, and his passengers suffering in injuries. Paramedics briefly described the victims as three adults, and an infant.
Authorities added several other parties riding on the Honda also sustained injuries as a result of the wreck.
DUI Suspect Arrested After 2-Car Crash in Yuba City
According to the article published online, the driver of the Honda showed signs of intoxication. The DUI suspect first received medical attention before being arrested.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car accident that happened on Highway 20 in Yuba City.
