Fatal Traffic Collision at Golden State Highway and Q Street Sunday
Bakersfield, CA (November 29, 2021) – Jose Antonio Cedillos Sr., a 38-year-old man, died following a car accident that occurred in the area of Golden State Highway and Q Street.
According to Bakersfield Now, an SUV broadsided a pickup truck at the intersection in Central Bakersfield. Preliminary investigation revealed Jose Cedillos Sr. was a passenger in the pickup truck.
The horrible crash took place Sunday at about 12:48 p.m.
Deadly Car Accident in Bakersfield, November 28
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found Jose Cedillos Sr. unconscious. Paramedics rushed the injured passenger to the hospital where he later sadly died. The Kern County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the deceased as Jose Cedillos Sr.
Authorities added the driver of the pickup sustained moderate injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the injured motorist remained unknown at this time.
Further investigation on the deadly car crash in Bakersfield is ongoing.
