Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision at Geneva Avenue and Prague Street
San Francisco, CA (December 11, 2022) – Jose Flores Espinoza, a 55-year-old male, suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Geneva Avenue and Prague Street.
According to KRON4 and CBS News, Espinoza was walking in the streets of San Francisco’s Crocker-Amazon neighborhood Wednesday evening. When the pedestrian attempted to cross the intersection of Geneva and Prague, the driver of an oncoming vehicle did not notice and hit the man. The horrible crash took place around 7:33 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in San Francisco
Emergency crews later arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian suffering in life-threatening injuries. Responding paramedics attempted to resuscitate the victim but he sadly succumbed to his trauma and died at the scene. The city’s Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the deceased as Jose Flores Espinoza.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. Given that, detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the deadly collision that happened at Geneva Avenue and Prague Street.
