Jose Jesus Alvarez Niebla, 70, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Rosecrans Avenue Saturday
Compton, CA (May 15, 2021) – Jose Jesus Alvarez Niebla, a 70-year-old man, died following a traffic accident on Rosecrans Avenue early Saturday morning.
According to My News LA, a man driving a 2008 Nissan Altima struck the male pedestrian in the eastbound side of Rosecrans Avenue. The horrible crash took place just east of South Castlegate Avenue in Compton.
The force from the impact propelled Jose Niebla. The article indicated the man hit the rear of a 2007 Toyota Camry parked on the south curb of Rosecrans.
Shortly after 3 a.m., emergency teams arrived in the 4328 block of Rosecrans Avenue. They found Jose Niebla lying in the number two eastbound lane of the road.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Compton, May 15
Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
