1 Killed in Collision Near Yucaipa Boulevard
Yucaipa, CA (July 30, 2022) – Joshua Jizmejian, a 19-year-old man, died following a car accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of I-10 near the Yucaipa Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the wreck involved a red Subaru, and a gray semi truck.
Deadly Car Accident on Interstate 10 in Yucaipa
Shortly after 10 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sadly died in the crash. Authorities identified the deceased as Joshua Jizmejian, of Redland. At this time, it remained unclear whether the fatal victim was a passenger in the Subaru or the truck.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole night. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly collision happened on 10 Freeway in Yucaipa.
