Jovana Sanchez, 27, Dead After Car Crash on Riverview Drive Tuesday
Cottonwood, CA (March 31, 2021) – 27-year-old Jovana Sanchez died following a car accident on Riverview Drive on March 30, Tuesday.
According to an article published online by Action News, Jovana Sanchez was behind the wheel of a 2016 Mazda traveling north on Riverview Drive. For reasons still unclear, the Cottonwood man made an abrupt left turn and careened off the roadway.
Our sources indicated the vehicle eventually slammed into a tree. The force from the impact ejected Jovana Sanchez. Officials confirmed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt when the catastrophic incident took place.

When medical personnel arrived in the 22533 block of River View Drive, they rendered aid and performed life-saving measures to Jovana Sanchez. Paramedics sadly pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car accident that killed Sanchez.
