Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Christopher Columbus Transcontinental (10) Highway
Beaumont, CA (November 22, 2022) – Juan Duran-Espinoza, a 78-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Christopher Columbus Transcontinental (10) Highway, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle struck an individual Sunday evening on the highway near Oak Valley Parkway. Authorities said the catastrophic incident took place at about 6:46 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Beaumont
When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they found a male party lying in the roadway. Responding paramedics immediately performed CPR to the victim. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Juan Duran-Espinoza, of Beaumont.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Christopher Columbus Transcontinental (10) Highway in Beaumont.
