Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Slover and Spruce Avenue
Bloomington, CA (May 16, 2022) – Julio Cesar Ortiz, a 40-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Slover and Spruce Avenue.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported a vehicle struck the male party at the intersection in Bloomington. Officials continue to withhold the description of the vehicle involved in the collision pending confirmation.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Bloomington
Shortly after 11 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities identified the deceased as Julio Cesar Ortiz, of Jurupa Valley.
No immediate information was available on motorist involved in the catastrophic incident.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factor surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident at Slover and Spruce Avenue in Bloomington.
