Cyclist Killed in Collision on Limonite Avenue Sunday
Jurupa Valley, CA (August 15, 2021) – A bicycle rider suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Limonite Avenue, the Press Enterprise reported.
On Sunday, at about 10:20 a.m., a bicyclist collided with another vehicle in the Jurupa Valley intersection. Preliminary investigation revealed the man riding a motorized bicycle made an abrupt U-turn on Limonite Avenue near Etiwanda Avenue. In the process, the bicyclist crashed into a black Chevrolet Silverado.

Responding emergency crews found the cyclist with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the bicycle rider succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado appeared unharmed after the incident. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly bicycle accident in Jurupa Valley.
