Keith Alan Killed, Tami Alan Critically Injured in Buena Park Hit-and-Run Crash
BUENA PARK, CA (August 17, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash killed Keith Alan and critically injured Tami Alan in Buena Park.
Family members identified the Buena Park couple as the victims of the collision which occurred near Western Avenue and Auto Center Drive.
The incident happened on Saturday when Keith Alan was driving a sedan with Tami Alan on southbound Western Avenue in Buena Park.
At the same time, a truck was going westbound on Auto Center Drive. Police said the truck then ran a red light at the intersection and slammed into the other car.
2 Cars Collide Near Western Avenue and Auto Center
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced Keith Alan dead at the scene of the Buena Park crash. Tami Alan sustained life-threatening injuries due to the impact of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed her to a hospital and listed her in critical condition. The Orange County Register and ABC 7 News wrote that the accident took place on August 14 at about 6:40 p.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the truck abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot. Officers forced the area of Western Avenue and Auto Center Drive to shut down for hours following the wreck.
Loved ones set up a GoFundMe page to help the family of the hit-and-run victims, Keith Alan and Tami Alan. The Buena Park hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
