Palmdale Man Killed in Lancaster Crash is Identified
LANCASTER, Calif. (March 25, 2021) – Kenneth Jones, 69, of Palmdale, died Thursday in a Lancaster pedestrian accident at Avenue J and 70th Street.
Furthermore, the man was struck by a motorist about 5 a.m. on March 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 2000 GMC reportedly hit Kenneth Jones. The pedestrian suffered severe injuries upon impact. Paramedics found him on the north shoulder of the roadway, police said.
Angel Perez, 24, of Lancaster, was driving the involved GMC. Also, he stopped after the collision and is cooperating with the police investigators.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Kenneth Jones as the man who died in the collision.
Meanwhile, police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash and there were no arrests made.
