Traffic Collision Leaves 1 Dead Near Lost Hills
Kern County, CA (November 6, 2022) – At least one person died following a car accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Saturday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said two cars crashed into each other on the southbound lanes of the freeway near Lost Hills. Due to the force from the impact one vehicle, a Chevrolet Tahoe, rolled over several times and landed on its roof along the side of I-5. Meanwhile, the description of the other vehicle and the extent of its damage after the collision remained unknown.

Shortly after 3:54 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the scene. First responders immediately checked the conditions of all the occupants in both cars. After the evaluation, paramedics sadly confirmed one person died as a result of the incident. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the horrible crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident happened on Interstate 5 in Kern County.
