Kevin Beelard, 43, Killed in Placer County Head-On Crash on Foresthill Road
PLACER COUNTY, CA (July 15, 2022) – Kevin Beelard was killed after a car crash on Foresthill Road in Placer County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 43-year-old Foresthill man as one of the drivers in the wreck which occurred on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Kevin Beelard was driving a green Toyota Corolla west on Foresthill Road in Placer County. At the same time, a blue Acura MBX was going east.
CHP said for an unknown reason, the two cars then collided head-on. The vehicles crashed just west of Drivers Flat Road and near Portofino Drive.
3 Injured in Wreck
The Sacramento Bee and Gold Country Media wrote that the accident took place on July 12 at about 3 p.m. The area is between Auburn and the Foresthill community.
Kevin Beelard died at the scene of the crash. The female driver of the Acura and her three children sustained moderate to major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed them to the Sutter Roseville and UC Davis Medical Centers for treatment. The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced Foresthill Road to shut down in both directions for several hours following the wreck. The cause of the Placer County crash is still under investigation.
