LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 16, 2023) — Kevin Evans, 59, died in a hit-and-run Long Beach pedestrian accident Tuesday on Pacific Coast Highway.
The deadly hit-and-run crash occurred about 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 14th on PCH and Harbor Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police arriving at the scene found a male adult suffering from life-threatening injuries who appeared to be involved in a traffic collision.
Also, paramedics with the Long Beach Fire Department responded and pronounced Kevin Evans dead at the scene. Authorities noted the driver did not stop after the crash, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case to determine what led to the crash.
