Man, 31, Killed in Diamond Bar Crash
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2021) – Kevin Flores, 31, died in a Diamond Bar crash early Thursday morning on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Diamond Bar.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the man who died in the crash about 1:07 a.m. on Jan. 6th.
According to the California Highway Patrol the collision happened in the eastbound lanes of the Pomona (60) Freeway at the northbound Orange (57) Freeway exchange.
Additionally, police closed down the transition road between the 60 and 57 Freeways to assist the involved motorists.
They are heading up an investigation into the fatal Diamond Bar crash.
Kevin Flores, whose city of residency was not known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the transition road between the two freeways reopened at 7:20 a.m., police said.
The cause of the crash and liability remains under investigation.
