Kevin Polidario ID’d as Suspect in Fresno Hit-and-Run Crash Near Cedar and Bullard
FRESNO, CA (February 4, 2022) – Officers detained Kevin Polidario after a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a pedestrian in Fresno.
The ABC 30 News identified the man as the suspect in the collision which took place late last month on January 25.
The incident began when Kevin Polidario was driving west on Bullard Avenue, approaching Cedar Avenue, in Fresno. At the same time, Donald Roberts got off a bus at the intersection.
Police said for an unknown reason, the driver then struck the 49-year-old Fresno man. He was walking across Bullard in the crosswalk when he was hit.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian down on the ground. He sustained severe injuries, including a massive head injury, as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel rushed the victim to the Fresno Community Regional Medical Center, where his leg ended up amputated. They placed him in the ICU and listed him in critical condition.
The Fresno Bee and ABC 30 News wrote that the collision happened at around 8:30 p.m. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and fled the area.
Officers soon arrested Kevin Polidario for hit-and-run resulting in injury or death. They charged him with an enhancement for infliction of great bodily injury during a felony in lieu of a $40,000 bail.
The cause of the Fresno hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
