Kevin Zaldana-Calderon, 23, Killed in Harvard Heights Hit-and-Run Crash
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 27, 2021) – Kevin Zaldana-Calderon was killed after a hit-and-run crash in Harvard Heights.
Police identified the 23-year-old Los Angeles man as the victim in the fatal collision which took place on Friday evening.
The incident happened when Kevin Zaldana-Calderon was crossing southbound on Harvard Boulevard, at the intersection with Venice Boulevard, in Harvard Heights.
At the same time, a sedan was going east on Venice. Los Angeles police said for an unknown reason, the car then struck him in a marked crosswalk.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the pedestrian left lying on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles wrote that the accident occurred on November 26 shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the sedan did not stop to help and fled the area. They described the car as a dark-colored, 2014 to 2019 BMW.
Officers are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect who fatally injured Kevin Zaldana-Calderon. The cause of the Harvard Heights hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
