
Man, 20, Killed in 2-Vehicle Rio Linda Crash
RIO LINDA, Calif. (May 18, 2023) – Kian Dawson Ornopia Amador, 20, of Sacramento, died in a motorcycle accident Tuesday at Elkhorn Boulevard and W 6th Street in Rio Linda.
The collision occurred around 6:41 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the young man was riding a motorcycle when he and another vehicle collided.

Paramedics responded and located the injured motorcycle rider, but despite efforts to save his life he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
“My father and I witnessed the entire thing and my father held his hand as he passed,” according to a witness on the scene who contacted our law firm. “It took first responders 14 minutes to arrive. Completely uncalled for if you ask me, since there is a fire department less than 2 miles away.”
The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim as Kian Amador. There is a GoFundMe page to help raise money for his funeral expenses.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident at Elkhorn Boulevard and W 6th Street in Rio Linda.
