Woman Killed in Lancaster Crash is Identified

 Kolisha Mitchell-King Fatal Lancaster Crash Antelope Valley 14 FreewayLANCASTER, Calif. (Feb. 15, 2022) – Kolisha Mitchell-King, 34, died in a Lancaster crash early Monday on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway, just south of Avenue H.

The head-on crash occurred at 12:07 a.m. on Feb. 14th on the northbound Antelope Valley Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash that may have involved a wrong-way driver.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner reported Kolisha Mitchell-King suffered major injuries and died at the scene. It’s unknown at this time if she was a passenger or driver of one of the vehicles.

The CHP issued a SigAlert and closed down all northbound lanes at Avenue H, police said.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the fatal Lancaster crash.
