Woman Killed, Infant Hospitalized After Collision on Interstate 8 Freeway Friday
La Mesa, CA (July 30, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred on Interstate 8 Freeway Friday evening, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Officials said a solo-vehicle rolled over while traveling east on the freeway in La Mesa. The horrible crash took place just east of State Route 125.
According to the article published online, the car flipped before landing on its wheels. The automobile came to a rest near the concrete center divider.
The catastrophic incident took place at about 7:10 p.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the site, they found a female party unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The article published online mentioned firefighters rescued an infant from the wreckage. Medical personnel transferred the infant inside an ambulance for evaluation. Additional details on the baby have not been discussed thus far.
