Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in La Palma Crash on 91 Freeway Near Walker Street
LA PALMA, CA (November 4, 2021) – A motorcyclist was badly injured after a crash on the 91 Freeway near Walker Street in La Palma.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place late Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 5:37 p.m.
CHP determined that a Honda CR-V and the rider of a 2013 red Suzuki GSX collided in La Palma. The two crashed for an unknown reason on the eastbound 91 Freeway, just east of Walker Street.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the UCI Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the La Palma crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway to shut down for half an hour near Walker after the incident.
