Bicycle Rider Killed in Laguna Hills Crash Near Paseo and Alicia
LAGUNA HILLS, CA (September 9, 2022) – A crash killed a bicycle rider near Paseo De Valencia and Alicia Parkway in Laguna Hills.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10 a.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck a man riding a bicycle in Laguna Hills. The driver hit him near the intersection of Paseo De Valencia and Alicia Parkway.
Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the bicyclist down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the rider dead. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, deputies questioned the motorist involved following the accident. Officers forced Paseo to shut down between La Paz Road and Alicia for a time after the bicycle collision.
The cause of the fatal Laguna Hills crash is still under investigation.
