1 Killed, 2 Injured in Lake Elsinore Crash on Lake Street
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (August 13, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured two others on Lake Street in Lake Elsinore.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the tragic accident late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:33 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lake Elsinore. They crashed in the 29000 block of Lake Street near Lakeshore Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced one individual dead at the scene. Two other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One patient sustained major injuries while the other survived the accident with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed both parties to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Cal Fire said a fourth party declined aid after evaluation.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Lake Street to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Lake Elsinore crash is still under investigation.
