Pedestrian Killed in Lake Los Angeles Crash at 160th Street East and Avenue O
LAKE LOS ANGELES, CA (March 28, 2023) – A crash killed a pedestrian at 160th Street East and Avenue O in Lake Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the collision on March 28 at about 8:37 p.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in Lake Los Angeles. The driver hit the person at the intersection of 160th Street East and East Avenue O.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the victim down on the ground. The patient sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the person dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the collision. Officers forced the area of 160th Street East and Avenue O to shut down for a time after the incident.
The cause of the fatal Lake Los Angeles pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
