Major Injury Collision on Highway 175 Saturday
Lakeport, CA (October 2, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Saturday evening on State Route Highway 175.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle in the eastbound side of the freeway near Benmore Valley Road.
The CHP logged the crash at about 7:20 p.m.
When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the motorbike blocking the traffic lanes. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the rider. Medical personnel checked the physical condition of the victim, then later confirmed he sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance later transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the motorcycle accident in Lakeport. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
