1 Seriously Injured in Lakeside Crash at Lemon Crest and Winter Gardens
LAKESIDE, CA (February 5, 2022) – At least one was seriously after a car crash at Lemon Crest Drive and Winter Gardens Boulevard in Lakeside.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the accident shortly before 2:30 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lakeside. They crashed at the intersection of Lemon Crest Drive and Winter Gardens Boulevard.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a white Honda sedan and a gray Toyota Camry. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Riverview Elementary School.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries following the wreck. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Lemon Crest and Winter Gardens to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Lakeside crash is still under investigation.
