7 Injured in Lamont Crash on Highway 184 Near Lana Street
LAMONT, CA (May 2, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash on Highway 184 in front of a fast food restaurant in Lamont.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident early Sunday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 1:06 a.m.
CHP said a red Acura sedan and an SUV collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at 9609 Highway 184 in front of the Jack in the Box restaurant in Lamont.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Lana Street. They attended to a total of seven people who ended up hurt as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel then took one victim to the Kern Medical with moderate injuries. They treated the other six patients for the minor injuries they sustained from the impact.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the highway, known as Main Street, to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Lamont crash.
