Child Among Three Injured in Lancaster Crash
LANCASTER, Calif. (May 24, 2021) — A Lancaster crash on the 14 Freeway left three people injured Sunday night.
A car reportedly veered off the side of the Aerospace (14) Highway in Lancaster before it overturned, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Lancaster crash in the southbound lanes of the 14 Freeway about 10:53 p.m. on Sunday, May 23rd.
The Aerospace Highway crash happened just west of Avenue D, the California Highway Patrol said.
The black sedan apparently went 100 feet off the roadway. Additionally, police closed all southbound lanes as well as the Avenue D on-ramp.
A Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopter landed on the highway, the CHP said.
Also, an injured child went by ambulance to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Two others went to other hospitals by ambulances. The police report did not elaborate on the conditions of those who were hurt in the crash.
The roadway reopened by 12:36 a.m. and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
