Woman Hospitalized in Dog Attack Near Lancaster
LANCASTER, Calif. (May 20, 2022) – A pack of approximately seven dogs attacked a woman early Friday morning on 182nd Street East in the Lake Los Angeles area near Lancaster.
The dog attack occurred just after midnight on May 20th, according to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene in the 39100 block of 182nd Street East and located the woman on the ground suffering from multiple dog bites. She had injuries to her face and head, police said. The report did not mention if the dogs were strays or they belonged to anyone. Also, it’s unknown if they were on their own property.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene. They transported the injured woman to Antelope Valley Hospital.
Authorities did not mention how severe the injuries are.
There are no details about the dogs and their whereabouts.
