At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near W Avenue K Friday
Lancaster, CA (January 3, 2022) – On December 31, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 14 near W Avenue K offramp.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the southbound side of SR-14, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway. At this time, the make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 3 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The name and condition of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Authorities mentioned one driver involved in the mishap fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to gather lead to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
