2 Injured in Larkfield-Wikiup Crash at Old Redwood and Colonial Park
LARKFIELD-WIKIUP, CA (January 12, 2022) – A crash injured two people at Old Redwood Highway and Colonial Park Drive in Larkfield-Wikiup.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Wednesday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:07 p.m.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Larkfield-Wikiup. They crashed on Old Redwood Highway at the intersection with Colonial Park Drive.
3 Cars Collide
The report described the cars as a blue Toyota Prius, a black Subaru Hatchback and a white pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. One patient sustained moderate injuries while the other survived with minor injuries.
Medical personnel took at least one of them to a hospital for treatment. The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Old Redwood and Colonial Park to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Larkfield-Wikiup crash is still under investigation.
