At Least 1 Killed in Car Crash on I-5 Freeway Sunday
Lebec, CA (April 4, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reportedly a fatal car accident that occurred on Interstate 5 Freeway early Sunday.
Initial records indicated a traffic collision involving an unknown number of vehicles took place on I-5 at Laval Road. CHP logged the incident shortly after 3:05 a.m.
According to the CHP dispatch, first responders found at the scene a sedan with smoke. Officials added a semi truck also stopped in the area.

Medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims. Following the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sadly died as a result of the crash. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. At the moment, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly car accident in Lebec happened.
