Major Injury Collision Near Little Dan Creek Tuesday
Leggett, CA (December 29, 2021) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on US Highway 101 on December 28, Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle overturned on the highway in Leggett; in the area near Little Dan Creek.
Shortly after 11:18 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a Honda CRV rolled approximately 600 feet down the steep embankment.

Officers said they found a 7-year-old boy with minor injuries, and two adults with more serious injuries. Due to the condition of the victims, an ambulance responded to the scene. Paramedics rushed the juvenile and all other injured parties to the hospital for treatment.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident on Highway 101 in Leggett happened.
