At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Near College Grove Way Thursday
Lemon Grove, CA (November 20, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route Highway 94 on November 18, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a white sedan collided with another vehicle in the westbound side of the freeway near College Grove Way. Due to the force from the impact, the white sedan rolled over multiple times. The car came to a rest flipped on its roof.
CHP logged the accident Thursday at about 5:11 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived, they found two people trapped in the overturned sedan. Responding firefighters worked extensively to pull out the two victims. After successfully extricating the occupants, paramedics transported them to UC San Diego Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The names of the patients remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the other motorist involved in the collision fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
