Bicyclist Injured in Linda Hit-and-Run Crash at Arboga and Feather River
LINDA, CA (February 9, 2022) – A bicyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Arboga Road and Feather River Boulevard in Linda.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 6:36 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in Linda. The driver hit the victim at the intersection of Arboga Road and Feather River Boulevard.
Driver Hits Rider, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 70. They found the cyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the bicyclist and then fled the area. They described the car as a white compact vehicle with black front bumper and rusted driver side wheel.
Officers forced the corner of Arboga and Feather River to shut down following the collision. The cause of the Linda hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
