Major Injury Collision Near Hammatt Avenue Offramp Saturday
Livingston, CA (March 19, 2022) – A that occurred Saturday on State Route 99, also known as Golden State Highway, resulted in injuries.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the southbound side of the highway near Hammatt Avenue offramp. Officials described the cars involved in the crash as a gray sedan, and a blue sedan.

Shortly after 12 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found the blue sedan fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters reportedly worked extensively to put out the fire, and also extricated one person trapped in the wreckage.
The CHP confirmed two or more parties suffered major injuries as a result of the accident. Personal information on the victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on State Route 99 in Livingston.
