Major Injury Crash on State Route 138 in Llano
LLANO, Calif. (March 8, 2024) — At least one person was seriously injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle Llano truck accident on Pearblossom Highway (SR-138) at Antelope Highway (SR-18).
The collision occurred at around 11:27 a.m. on March 8th, just southwest of Black Butte Airport, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white truck and a white Audi sedan were involved in the collision. The car wound up on the dirt shoulder of the roadway and its driver became trapped. Police and firefighters responded and extricated the injured motorist.
Paramedics responded and requested an air ambulance to transport one person with major injuries to a hospital.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged Audi from the highway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Llano accident on Pearblossom Highway.
