Cyclist Injured in Collision Near Victor Road Tuesday
Lodi, CA (February 22, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a bicycle accident that occurred Tuesday on State Route Highway 88.

Initial records indicated a cyclist attempted to cross the highway in the area near Victor Road. While biking across the eastbound lanes of SR-88, an oncoming vehicle struck the man riding a bicycle.
The force from the impact ejected the cyclist onto the right-hand shoulder of the freeway in Lodi. Shortly after 10:38 p.m., an ambulance arrived at the site. Paramedics rendered first aid to the patient, then transported them to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation. The name and age of the injured cyclist remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the collision appeared unharmed.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident on State Route 88 in Lodi.
