Major Injury Collision Near Turner Road Tuesday
Lodi, CA (February 8, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Authorities said a red pickup truck overturned while traveling south on the highway in Lodi. The accident took place near the Turner Road offramp.
Shortly after 5:02 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found the pickup flipped on its roof, and resting at approximately 50 feet away from the roadway.
Medical personnel checked the physical conditions of all the occupants in the overturned car. According to the CHP log, at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. The names and age of the patients remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate the precise cause of the car accident on Interstate 5 in Lodi.
