Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Lodi Crash at Harney Lane and Curry Avenue
LODI, CA (November 12, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Harney Lane and Curry Avenue in Lodi.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the incident shortly after 8:30 p.m.
The incident happened when a female pedestrian got out of a vehicle at the intersection of East Harney Lane and Curry Avenue in Lodi.
Victim Hit by Car
CHP said for an unknown reason, a pickup truck hit her. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the victim bleeding in the roadway.
She ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and her condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person.
Officers forced the intersection of Harney and Curry to close following the collision. The cause of the Lodi pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
