2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 9 in Lomond
LOMOND, Calif. (April 22, 2021) — A fiery Lomond head-on crash happened Thursday morning
Two dark-colored SUVs collided about 6:17 a.m. on April 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision. Meanwhile, one of the vehicles caught on fire and someone was attempting to put it out with a fire extinguisher. Both drivers managed to get out of the vehicles without serious injuries after the Lomond head-on crash.

Additionally, paramedics responded to help at least one injured person from the vehicles. Minor injuries were treated at the scene, but it’s unknown if anyone was taken to a hospital. Furthermore, there were no further details about the collision at this time.
Finally, investigators will determine fault for the Lomond head-on crash. Witnesses may contact the CHP to help them solve liability.
