Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Lompoc Crash on Jalama Road
LOMPOC, CA (September 25, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Jalama Road near a park in Lompoc.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the accident shortly after 2:30 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Lompoc. The two crashed at 9999 Jalama Road.
Collision Near Park
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Jalama Beach County Park. They found the motorcyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver sustained injuries or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Jalama Road to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Lompoc crash is still under investigation.
