Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Highway 136
Lone Pine, CA (October 14, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Friday evening on State Route Highway 395, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual on SR-395 near Highway 136. CHP logged the horrible crash Friday at about 7:13 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 395 in Lone Pine
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the victim lying on the side of the roadway. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Officials mentioned the driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene; and cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Highway 395 in Lone Pine.
