2 Injured in Long Beach Crash at Wardlow Road and Bellflower Boulevard
LONG BEACH, CA (November 15, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Wardlow Road and Bellflower Boulevard in East Long Beach.
According to an article published by the Long Beach Post, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 12:32 p.m.
Long Beach police said the incident happened on November 14 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city.
2 Cars Collide
The two cars crashed at the intersection of Wardlow Road and Bellflower Boulevard. Both rolled over due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and rescued two trapped female occupants from the wreckage. The two women ended up hurt as a result of the accident.
One patient sustained major injuries while the other survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel then rushed the women to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the northbound Bellflower to shut down near Wardlow following the incident.
The cause of the Long Beach crash is still under investigation.
