2 Hospitalized After Collision Near Cherry Avenue Friday
Long Beach, CA (March 12, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
According to My News LA, a car crash took place in the southbound side of the freeway on March 11, Friday. The exact number of vehicles involved in the collision have not been revealed thus far.
Earlier reports indicated the incident happened at about 11 p.m.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the crash site near the Cherry Avenue exit in Long Beach. When emergency crews arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all the possible victims. The article published online mentioned rescue teams used the “Jaws of Life” to extricate three victims trapped in the wreckage.
Officials said among the three victims, medical personnel transported two patients to the hospital. The names of the injured parties, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car crash on San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach.
