Man Dies at Hospital After Crash Near Bellflower Boulevard
Long Beach, CA (October 28, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Thursday in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Channel Drive, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle struck a man running across a street in Long Beach. Officials said the crash took place around 6:25 p.m.
Pedestrian Killed in Long Beach Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
When rescue teams arrived, they found a 2021 Toyota Corolla stopped at the scene. Responding paramedics also found the pedestrian suffering in injuries but conscious. The article published online mentioned an ambulance rushed the victim to a hospital. Several hours later, the patient sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed after the crash; and cooperated with the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident at Pacific Coast Highway and Channel Drive.
